Altar in The Woods

Ole Terslose, Altar in The Woods, 3-d-print and wooden structure, 450 x 280 x 280 cm Skovsnogen Art Space, Sculpture Trail and Outdoor Museum in the woods of Denmark, representing some of the most challenging young Danish artists, is going to enlarge the Contemporary Collection with a site specific installation by Ole Terslose titled "Altar in the Woods". Terslose builds on pioneering studies that contextualise and re-examine the manifestations of spirit and culture across geographies, time, and space, within Europe’s current shifting socio-economic and political frameworks. Hamburg – The Breckwoldt Foundation is pleased to announce the artist selected for the Edith-Breckwoldt-Artist-in-Residency in Hamburg, the award-winning artist, Karimah Ashadu, specialising in the moving image, who will complete a 2 year - long residency at FRISE artists house complex (2018 - 2020).
