Fascinated by their own self- image, civilizations from a wide variety of cultures have always created mirror images for themselves. Whether in the time of the Mayas, in antiquity, in the Chinese Empire or in our current digital media age. How does contemporary art deal with this phenomenon? How do artists see themselves in today's world?
A journey to the inner-self between awareness, criticism, selfies, facts and facades. The curated art show aims to promote artists from various geographic locations (Chile, Germany,South Korea, Switzerland among others) and diverse backgrounds, foster cross-continental dialogue.
